This year, Easter looked a little different. We didn't go over Grandma and Poppa's house, we didn't dye Easter eggs together, we didn't have dinner together, but we made sure to still make it fun for the kids. And as normal as possible.
The kids agreed to check out their Easter baskets first and then hunt for eggs.
Cadence received a bunch of stuff to make slime
Colin's always happy with Matchbox cars
Let the Easter egg hunt commence!
For weeks they talked about hoping that there would be eggs outside...It's always weather dependent.
There are 2 kids in there...
Poppa made us cinnamon rolls...we gave them mimosas!
We dyed eggs in the afternoon
At some point, Colin got a hold of the camera and began snapping away.
She likes the attention...
We hopped on a FaceTime call with Grandma and Poppa while we dyed the eggs
The finished products!
Later in the day, the weather was nice, so we hung out in the driveway with the 'rents! It was nice to spend some socially-distanced time with one-another!
