A Few Short Weeks Away from One!

Danny and I are really enjoying being parents. Cadence definitely knows how to keep us entertained! A month before Cadence's first birthday, she finally decided she wanted to get off her belly and start crawling! She's all over the place now! We have a feeling she'll be like her Mommy and won't walk until she's 15 months old. She's so smart, but until recently was perfectly content to just sit around and play. We have started baby-proofing the house. The coffee table now has styrofoam edges and the wine glasses are tucked away in the cabinets! Cadence is constantly learning new things. She shrugs her shoulders now and throws up her hands as if to say, "I dunno." She knows the difference between "hi" and "bye" and says them clear as day. She pretend laughs, gives hugs, and blows kisses. She's too cute for words!

For some reason she's obsessed with her nasal aspirator from the hospital! Don't worry, we don't use it in her nose! She's getting her top teeth and loves to chew on it!

Curious George!

Cadence's Jungle Gym

Cadence has become extremely curious now that she has figured out how to get around. Her new favorite past time is playing with the stools in the kitchen (hence the reason why they are turned over!) Check out this crazy kid :)

1 Baby + 1 Dog = Cutest Video Ever!

11 Months Old!

Less than a month until Cadence is a year old! We can't believe an entire year has flown by. Every day we have so much fun with Cadence. She's at the point where she is army crawling around the house - we don't have to really tempt her anymore with food or toys. She's becoming very curious! She loves to pet Scarlet, tear into some magazines, and open/close cabinet doors. Time to baby-proof the house! She still only has her bottom two teeth but is enjoying lots of new foods. Some recent favorites are peas and carrots, mac and cheese, and strawberries. I had a great first Mother's Day as a mom. Danny took Cadence shopping for my gift and we went for a bike ride with Pops to Easton where we met Mom & Mike for brunch at Northstar...mmm!

Enjoy the pictures below!

11 months old...face is raw from wiping her face - yet another cold!

My Mother's Day gift from Cadence & daycare :)

She is not a big fan of her helmet...but it is cute!
