Spring Break 2023

Crazy work schedules and Scarlet's failing health kept us close to home for Spring Break 2023.  Despite all of that, we tried to keep it fun for the kiddos...

We went to Brew Dog one night for dinner

Colin had his first lacrosse games that weekend.

We went back to the Franklin Park Conservatory after a hiatus of a few years! 

Adrian spent the night the day before and joined us for the trip

Although it's always fun to check out the butterflies at the Conservatory, I think the kids had more fun running around grabbing samples at Costco afterward!

Danny caught us all snoozing that night

Cadence spent the day with her friends, so Colin and I checked out the dam at Hoover Reservoir and grabbed ice cream at DQ!

We caught up with the Marinellis for pizza at Taranto's and enjoyed TopGolf!

    

Early March

March brought us an end-of-the-season basketball pizza party for the boys, school spirit days, and silly pictures to Danny while he had to travel for work!

Coach Jim treated the 4th grade travel basketball team to pizza at PJs.  The boys came together pretty well as a team by the time the season wrapped up.  They might have not had as many Ws under their belts as they would have liked, but they were sure fun to watch.
