Happy Easter!

We all enjoyed Easter this year. Cadence was, of course, adorable in her Easter dress. She was a little squirmy towards the end of mass, but overall, did well. We had brunch at Grandma and Poppa's house. Cadence tried some muffins, some watermelon, and some potatoes! The Easter bunny was very generous and visited 3 times! Cadence's personality is still blossoming. She knows what to do to make you laugh and has started to point at things that interest her. We're awaiting the "what's that?" over and over. Oh, and she's obsessed with cell phones and remote controls. It doesn't matter which one is in her hand, she'll hold it up to her ear and say, "hi!" She's started to army crawl. There's a contest out there...anyone who can get Cadence to crawl gets 50 bucks! The race is on!

Cadence was fascinated by the balloons at the grocery store this weekend.

Cadence got an adorable bathing suit and bunny from Mamaw and Papaw for Easter. What was her favorite part? The plastic egg filled with money!

10 Month Cutie!

Time is FLYING by. Our little peanut is becoming such a big girl! She still refuses to crawl...but she's getting close...maybe! Danny likes to play a game with her where she gets up on her knees and bounces. I think daycare is practicing a lot of words with her because the few words that she can say (mama, dada, puppy, baby, and uh oh) are becoming clearer. She still signs "more" and is even saying "more" when she wants more snacks. Daycare said they are now trying to teach her "all done." She's so stinkin' smart!

Cadence LOVES Sesame Street!

Every afternoon after daycare, Cadence watches a little Sesame Street while I feed Scarlet, unpack Cadence's things, and get her bath ready. Her favorite parts of the show are Abby's Flying Fairy School and Elmo's World. This is Cadence's typical reaction when one of them comes on. She is obsessed!
