Pictures of the baby's room...a work in progress! Love it though! Danny's done a great job! Also, we couldn't have done it without all the help we received from our friends and family. Danny's mom helped paint; my dad helped with the chair rail; my mom supplied the bedding; my mom's friend, Kim, hemmed our curtains for the closet; and Danny's grandma made the quilt!

Look at the adorable quilt Danny's grandma made for future Baby Schuerman! We are totally impressed with what she was able to do...all from a simple e-mail of a picture of the baby's bedding. We're so lucky!

The detailed stitching even has dragon flies in it!

Danny's mom and sister threw our 3rd and final shower this past weekend. Everything was great! I had a lot of fun visiting with his family and some friends that live in Hamilton. The food was delicious too! Danny's aunt made the cake...a pea in a pod!

They even got us an edible arrangement!

I think Scarlet will be just fine with our baby when he/she arrives! His niece thought she was a horse :)
It's easy to get help opening gifts!

My co-workers totally surprised me with a baby shower today! We were unusally busy and I was completely oblivious. I was told that our boss and his wife had a meeting with some people and would be in the kitchen for a while, so I knew not to interrupt. We also had leftover lasagna from the day before, so Peggy said she had heated it up for lunch. We went to go into the kitchen & then I saw Danny! Sara had been in contact with him without me knowing so that he could be there! There were Buckeye decorations everywhere. Sara even made a Buckeye diaper cake and Peggy made candles out of Buckeye baby bottles! Nancy made homemade Buckeyes too! Our baby is definitely going to be an Ohio State fan! We got a lot of awesome gifts...I'm so lucky to work with such a great group of people!
32 weeks!

Here are some pictures from yesterday's shower!

See, it isn't that difficult to find gender neutral stuff! :)

The adorable favors with herbs to plant!

This cake was so good...one tier had lemon cake and the other had carrot cake!

Erica did such a good job on the diaper cake! You wouldn't believe how many gifts she was able to stuff in there. I love her!

My mom's BFF Dawn brought one too! :)

Gifts

I had help from Danny's nieces opening gifts! I apparently didn't cooperate and give Erica a long enough time to take pictures of each present, so here are a few...

Danny's grandma is so crafty! This bouquet is made of wash cloths, onesies, and hats!

Gwen was able to make it from Indianapolis! I didn't bug anyone to take pictures while they were there, so this is all I got!

What a busy weekend! Danny's birthday was Saturday and he also participated in the "Dam Fool 4 -miler" at the Alum Creek Dam - he did so well! I was able to fit in a much needed pedicure and we had our first shower on Sunday!

I had an AWESOME time at the shower Mom threw . I got to see a lot of good friends and we received some great presents. Mom's food was delicious of course and she did such a good job with the decorations and favors. I missed all of the out-of-town relatives that couldn't attend...I hope to see them after the baby is born! Thanks again to everyone who came to make it such an enjoyable day. I'll hopefully get to post some pictures soon when I have some more time!

Another doctor's visit has come and gone. My blood pressure was a little higher than it has been, but nothing my doctor is worried about. I gained a pound over the last 2 weeks (weird considering I felt like I ate a ton at Easter dinner!). The baby's heart rate ranged from 160 bpm to 148 bpm. It's cute to see it speed up after it kicks! My belly measured 29.5 cm which was up a little bit from my last visit which was 28 cm. My doctor feels I'm measuring a little on the small side, so she decided it would be best to go in for an ultrasound next week. It's a little scary to me, but based on my original due date, everything is on track. She could tell that the baby is positioned head down, so that's good news. Hopefully it will stay that way and we won't have to schedule a c-section! My first shower is this weekend...can't wait to see everyone!
