She Likes It...Hey Mikey!

We had an eventful day today! Mammaw and Pappaw came to visit for the day from Hamilton and we had Cadence's Fall photo shoot with Kimmy. Of course the shoot fell right when it was time for Cadence to nap...she was pretty cranky to say the least! Hopefully we were able to get some good shots! After some shopping and dinner, it was time for Cadence's first taste of rice cereal. As you can see from the pictures, she LOVED it! We have no doubt she will be a great eater. We look forward to green beans, carrots, applesauce, and plums. :)

Our Peanut is a Pumpkin!

Cadence is now 4 1/2 months old and growing like a weed! She had her 4 month appointment the other day and we found out that she is 12 lb., 12 oz. and 25 inches long! She didn't react too well to her shots this time. She has been pretty cranky the last couple of days and has had a low fever. We try to make her comfortable, but it's so hard when you don't know exactly what's wrong. We were able to make it to the Circleville Pumpkin Show this year, and as you can see by the picture, we had our own little pumpkin! I forgot to bring a pink pacifier, so everyone thought she was a boy! Danny carried her around in our carrier and you should've seen everyone's faces as they saw her. She was just too cute! We had a great time and ate EVERYTHING pumpkin! Pumpkin doughnuts, pumpkin chili, pumpkin fudge, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin whoopie pies, pumpkin coffee...mmmmmm. We will post Halloween pictures soon...what will she be? You'll have to wait and see! :)

Sorry it's been a while since the last blog update! We've been super busy during the week, and the weekends are reserved for having fun and getting stuff done! Enjoy the latest!

We went apple picking up at Buckingham Orchards last weekend. There weren't many apples to pick since it was a bad crop this year, but we still had fun in the brisk fall weather!

Cadence doesn't need any toys...she loves playing with her feet!
