Here's some of the fun we had after Easter...
We sent a note to Colin's teacher to show her the first puzzle we finished (he enjoyed working on puzzles in class) and she told us that she had an unopened puzzle that had been in the trunk of her car for months. She made a special trip and dropped it off for Colin on our porch! It was nice to see her and say, "hello!" It was a puzzle with US landmarks. It was a lot of fun - it only took us a few days to finish! Again, Colin did most of the work!
Cadence did her makeup and requested a photo shoot.
Scarlet wanted in on the fun with puzzle #3...
This 500-piece Pokemon puzzle only took a day to complete!
Colin spiked up his long quarantine hair and he looked like Johnny Bravo (from Cartoon Network) to me!
At the beginning of the stay-at-home order, the weather was just starting to warm up. We took advantage of it and took daily walks down to the creek. I was able to sneak a photo during one walk when the kids weren't bickering.
Mom made Danny turkey burgers, homemade mac and cheese, and tater tots for dinner for his birthday. As you can tell, he was stoked!
Since we're not going anywhere, the kids have gotten creative with the hairstyles...
Aren't they so cute?!
Cadence likes to watch crafting YouTube videos. She got the idea to refresh her worn out squishies. Here she is trying to dry the paint on one of them.
Colin helped Danny assemble the new patio furniture.
I sent Danny this photo while he was at the office. The kids made a blanket fort in the backyard while it was sprinkling.
Cadence has been taking remote piano lessons using Zoom. It's nice that she can still keep up with her lessons at home!
We've had a little more screen time than normal with being home all day, every day...
Hopefully it's only temporary...but they've learned a lot of new technology skills being quarantined! Here's Colin during a Google Meet with his class for show and tell.
