Sorry for the delay in the blog posts...things are a little crazy with an infant! Cadence went to the doctor last week for her 2 month check up. She now weighs 9 lb., 14 oz. and is 23.5 inches long (she's a little peanut). Enjoy the latest pictures!

She is so darn cute in her hats from grandma!

I couldn't pick just one sleeping picture...here's all 3!

Our little ducky!

Already a little bad ass in her outfit from Uncle Mike (don't worry, he hasn't gotten her any tattoos! ---yet!)

Here is Cadence in her Pack 'n Play. She LOVES staring at her animals. As you can see, she is trying to suck on her thumb and talk!

We'll See You Again One Day, Pips!

This past week was particularly difficult for my family. We lost a great member of the family...my grandfather...my Pepe. He passed away unexpectedly last Sunday. He will be greatly missed. He dearly loved all of us and I was told that he couldn't wait to have a great-grandchild. When he was in town for Cadence's baptism, I swear she immediately smiled at him when he held her for the first time. Cadence was a blessing to have with us -- she was a welcome distraction from the harsh reality of what was happening in our lives. It helps to know that he's in a better place...now The Pips can see Cadence whenever he wants!

Please enjoy the following pictures (most are courtesy of my mom...a.k.a. paparazzo)...

Cadence's first stay in a hotel

My dad's parents were able to meet Cadence while we were in Rhode Island. Here are Cadence's Gread-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Iacobucci...

Cadence's Great-Grandma DeNomme got her to smile!

Look at my muscles!

Surprise!

Perfect little angel...

Scarlet, you're invading my personal space!

Big, blue eyes!

This is the life...

I love my toys in my Pack 'N Play! The giraffe makes me crack up!
