Halloween 2023

Waaaay back during the summer of 2023, we sat around the pool with the Marinellis and talked about costume ideas for the kids - thinking they could stick to a theme.  We came up with rappers/musical artists.  Enjoy their costumes!  We sure did!

Addison added some padding to her costume

And Cadence added some "birds" to her costume to make it more "authentic"

Annual Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza

I love that we all still enjoy getting together to carve pumpkins.  Check out how well we did this past Halloween!

Danny's is on the left - it was inspired by Colin's Halloween costume, Post Malone.  Mine's 2nd to the left, my dad's is the scary one next, and Cadence did an M&M, inspired by her Halloween costume, Eminem.

Colin's was a challenge for him this year - he was still working on his when I took the photo above.  He put forth a good effort and had a great finished product!

Some of Colin's Halloween costume (Post Malone) came via Amazon - he had it on while he ate lunch and watched TV.  It was quite comical.

Cadence went to Macie's 14th Birthday/Halloween party 😊

We bumped into my dear, old friend Gwen while shopping one afternoon!  It was SO good to see her.  She was with her daughter, and both of our kids were so confused.  We were so excited to see one another and wished we could have spent some time together.  I hope we can spend some time with one another soon!

Cadence has been attending Builder's Club meetings at school.  They do community service activities.  We're so proud of her for becoming involved and making her school a better place.

Cadence, my mom, and I went to Youngstown to visit Michelle and her kiddos for Sophia's 2nd birthday.  The kids are so cute, but boy, are they a handful!

XC Color Run

Toward the end of the cross country season, Cadence's school held another color run for the runners and their families.  We all participated again.  It was a bit warmer this year!  And the volunteers had a lot more colored powder to throw at us!  I wasn't feeling it after the first mile (I don't know how those kids do this multiple times each week), so I stopped to walk on occasion.  I caught up with Colin and ran with him toward the end.  Danny and Cadence were like beasts and left us in their dust.  Check out the photos volunteers took along the way!
