Tomorrow's my official due date! Still no baby. I have been experiencing random, minor contractions, so hopefully that means my body is getting ready for labor. At this week's appointment, I found out that I hadn't gained any weight in the past week, my belly measured 35.5 cm, and the baby's heart rate was in the 120s. I was still 2 cm. dilated and 75% effaced, but the baby is now in station -1 (still have a way to go). I have an appointment set for next Tuesday and also next Friday (1 week past my due date). At that point, they'll monitor the baby for movement and watch its heart rate. I'm feeling well...can't really complain. I can definitely tell it's time to have a baby though! My body is tired of being pregnant! Today at work, everyone started guessing the baby's gender, weight, and delivery day. I can't wait to see who's right! Danny and I are ready for the baby to arrive. We finally got our new car too! 2010 Chevy Equinox. We love it!

Yesterday at my appointment, my doctor said that I had gained a pound in the last week, my belly measured 35 cm. and the baby's heart rate was high 120s to low 130s. I was 2 cm. dilated and 75% effaced. So what does that mean you ask? Basically nothing. Since everyone is different, I could deliver in the next couple of days or the next couple of weeks! Guess we'll have to wait and see!
We have our car seat inspection at the local fire department today. I think Danny did a great job installing the car seat in the G6. If everything goes through at the bank with our loan, we'll be able to get the Equinox today too! We filled out the paperwork last night for the car we ordered alllll the way back in February. It finally arrived at the dealership the other day. Danny wants to go pick it up during his lunch break. It's so pretty and will fit a car seat and stroller nicely! The best part is that it only has 4 miles on it! We're super excited. Hopefully we'll have a baby to put in the car seat soon!

We're getting there! Tomorrow we'll be at the 3 week countdown! I went to the doctor on Tuesday and had what will hopefully be my last ultrasound. The doctor estimated that the baby is about 5 lb., 11 oz. Supposedly during the last month, the baby should gain 1/2 pound a week - I've been trending at 2 lbs. each week, so hopefully some of that is the baby! Boy can I tell too. By the end of the day, my legs, ankles, and feet are so swollen! Danny has been great and has been taking care of a lot around the house so I can rest. We also went to our last "baby prep" class last night...I think we're more confused about car seats now than we were before we went! We plan on installing the car seat and then stopping by the fire dept. to make sure we did it correctly! We also had our tour at the hospital last Saturday and my hospital bag is about half packed! Last night it was crazy to think that the next time we'll be at St. Ann's Hospital, we'll be parents!
