Cadence asked me several times if she could give me a makeover - I finally caved (and then went to Kroger afterward!) She did my makeup, complete with a cat eye with eyeliner, and curled my hair.
She did a pretty good job! I may or may not have washed off the eye liner before I went grocery shopping...
Luckily there were a few bottles of "fun color" hair dye left on the shelves when I went shopping - Cadence wanted pink, so that's what she got! The color lasted longer than we thought it would and it turned out great. She's so cute!
We tried it out on Colin also, but it didn't really "stick". He was a little bummed after all that time sitting with color on his hair - he got over it quickly, though. Here he is goofing around with Cadence's feather boa. Scarlet was a victim of the boa as well...
Who wore it best?
Cadence also went through a phase where we braided her hair in several small braids after her shower at night - it turned out pretty crimped in the morning! Here she is taking a selfie (we're in trouble when she's a teenager and has her own phone!)
I came inside after doing some yard work on the weekend and found Colin dressed like this - Cadence must've convinced him to try out a makeover as well! They even snuck into my my drawers and swiped a bra! They are something else, those two.
I ordered several packs of Color Street nail polish strips after seeing them advertised a bunch. I tried it out on Cadence. It worked pretty well, but I think I learned a lot to make the next application better.
