Apple-y Ever After

It's that time of year again - apple season!  That means apple picking and applesauce!  These are 2 fall activities that we try to fit in every year.  The kids kept asking when we were going to go apple picking, so I'm glad they were looking forward to it.  We've lucked out the past several years with great weather.  We have a good time at Legend Hills Orchard.  And, duh, it's a great opportunity to sneak some pictures in of the kids!

Cadence always plays along well when I shove the camera in her face.

Colin does a good job, too, but he's usually goofing off. This year, he wanted to be the leader on which trees we picked from next.

It was warm, so there were pretty butterflies everywhere!

Cutie Pies

Mom shared some pictures with me that she got - she wins the award for best picture of the kids.  Maybe Christmas card 2018 material...

Silly girl

Danny had fun with his phone and the new photo editing features

Always some messy fun when it comes time to peel/cut/cook the apples for applesauce!

Mom's broken peeler that we use with a drill made an appearance once again!

I made Danny take a picture of me to prove I was there as well.

The freezer is nice and happy now with several servings of yummy applesauce!
