March 2018 and Spring Break

Not surprisingly, March flew by!  We celebrated my brother's (Uncle Mike's) birthday and also had our 3rd annual Schuerman/Marinelli pizza party.  April is going to be packed with things to do, so I'm sure it will fly by and May will be here before you know it.  I think we're all ready for some warmer weather and sunshine in central Ohio.

After "springing ahead", Colin's school had PJ day.  His storm trooper PJ ensemble was not complete without the storm trooper mask!

On the Thursday before St. Patrick's Day, Colin and I picked up Cadence from piano lessons.  They had a "photo booth" set up - Colin couldn't resist.

We got another visit from Lucky the Leprechaun on St. Patrick's Day - he left another box of Lucky Charms for the kiddos...and some messy footprints!  At least his trail wasn't too long this year.  It didn't take too long to clean up ;)

Cadence had to create a habitat for school - she chose the Arctic.  We had fun picking out the supplies at Hobby Lobby.  She used felt as the snow and some sparkly paper as the water.  She also used some pipe cleaners as water spraying and for a narwhal tusk.  She was pretty proud of her creation.

Grandma Friday Pics!

During spring break, Cadence split up the early part of the week between Grandma & Poppa's house and Danny's office.  She does a lot of writing, drawing, coloring, and creating.

She even made herself a blanket.

Later in the week, I took the kids to the Franklin Park Conservatory (I think this is the 3rd year in a row).  The kids love to go when they have the butterflies (it's usually March-September each year).

One of their favorite parts is the Koi fish pond.

Danny was able to escape from work for a few hours and meet us down there!

Colin wanted me to take his picture on top of the rock

Currently my wallpaper on my phone

I was able to get a couple of butterflies to land on my hand, but they would fly away as soon as I would try to get the kids near them!

The rest of the afternoon was spent running errands.  We had a jam-packed car after our trip to Costco!

They got rid of the bus ride at Kroger, so the kids had to test out the new Sesame Street car.  To say they are too big for the ride would be an understatement.

We had a great time with the Marinellis at Antonio's in Westerville.  The pizza was awesome - the kids are huge fans of their bread sticks.

Before Easter, Colin's class had an Easter Egg Hunt.  His teacher sent these cute pictures.

On the Friday of spring break, Grandma took the kids to Star Lanes for some arcade time (they weren't interested in bowling).  They had a great time and got some pretty cool prizes from turning in their tickets!

Danny had to travel for work - here's a pic I sent to him before school.  They look so sweet!
