Warm Spell

We had a couple of weeks in November that were warmer than usual.  It was nice to be able to get some things done around the house outside and the kids took advantage of the warmer weather as well.  They still can't quite climb the trees in the backyard by themselves, so we helped them and they had fun "chilling" in the trees for a while.

Cadence "meditating"

The kids love our old pup

Colin didn't want to jump in the pile of leaves, so that left more time for Cadence!

Yup, up in the trees again

The kids had fun helping us decorate our Christmas tree.  Our artificial tree is still holding up pretty well!  The second year we were married, Danny had a difficult time with the real tree and our tree stand and he said we'd never get a real tree again.  Fine by me.

The finished product!  Nany and Granpa Carpenter's star is still holding up well!  And the kids (especially Colin) were really into the Polar Express train from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Iacobucci
