The Saturday after Veteran's Day, the kids and I were home while my dad and Danny volunteered to offer some TLC to a cemetery reserved for veterans (it's something my dad has done for the past several years). While they were away, we decided to make, what I grew up calling, Gloop (I think I made it in elementary school once), It's just Borax, glue, and water. It was sticky, but I think the kids had fun making it!
Cadence had the Monday after Thanksgiving off from school -- Danny and I decided to both take the day off from work. We took the kids to a children's museum that's not too far from our home (AHA! Children's Museum). It's geared more toward kids Colin's age, but I think both of our kids had a good time there. There was lots to do!
I had to run a couple of errands at Easton one Saturday -- I mustered up the courage to bring both kids with me...by myself. Boy, did they wear me out! I cringed when they were playing chase with each other through a rack of dresses at Nordstrom!
Cadence liked the mannequins
We got to enjoy the Christmas decorations, though!
After our crazy shopping trip, Cadence and I had a pedicure appointment. We had some nice mommy/daughter time.
Later that night, they had the tree lighting and other Christmas activities on the Sunbury Square. The kids wanted to take a horse-drawn carriage ride!
