A few weeks ago we got around to making some applesauce with the apples we picked. We like to make a huge batch and freeze some to enjoy later on. It's usually quite a task and the kids like to help peel the apples.
We borrowed my parents' apple peeler so we could peel apples twice as fast -- then the handle broke. Danny got creative and attached a drill to the end! Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor would be so proud!
The weekend before Halloween, we got into some family pumpkin carving.

The following Saturday, Danny went to the Ohio State football game with my dad and the Marinelli guys. While they were gone, we enjoyed some time outside! The temperature was unseasonably warm!
Later in the day, Tyler and the kids came over to hang out. We made witches hats out of cookies and Hershey kisses and witches brooms out of pretzel sticks and mini Reese's cups. They were yummy!
Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Check out our mime and Guy Fieri! Cadence had wanted to be a mime since, probably, last Halloween. She said there was a mime on the show Odd Squad that the kids watch. I think that's where she got the idea. Colin LOVES to watch Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives. We asked him one night if he'd like to be Guy Fieri for Halloween and he was into it!
The Marinellis invited us over to their neighborhood to go trick-or-treating. It was great to see Catboy and Velma. It was a really fun night. The kids got a TON of candy. One of their neighbors also went all out and had a haunted house. It was pretty scary!!
Danny dressed up as Tape Face -- anyone who watched America's Got Talent this summer will know who he is!
I think Danny did really well with his costume!
You would think they would've been really quiet this Halloween!
One of their neighbors had a "Pump-Glenn" jack-o-lantern -- a tribute to Glenn from The Walking Dead. We loved it.
