Since it is now March, I figured I should update everyone on what we did in February! Even though Cadence is only a little over 2 1/2 years old, I still try to do something to keep the holidays fun...even the "not-so-important" ones. I found a couple ideas online for Groundhog Day.
Can you believe she didn't want to eat the crushed up Oreo "dirt" or the pudding? All she ate was the Nilla Wafer! This kid's crazy...oh well, more sweets for me!
Danny had some fun getting some shots with our new camera.
Buddies for life
So that same sweet dog pictured above decided that Cadence's elephant from Uncle Mike needed a nose job...
And if you haven't noticed...Cadence is OBSESSED with elephants!
Grandma was around so Cadence helped her with the surgery
Grandma was also a nice assistant when it came to Cadence's Valentines for her classroom. After receiving Cadence's Valentines from her friends, I don't think I'll be putting forth this much effort next year. I'm hoping the kids at least enjoyed the candy!
Danny was out of town during Valentine's Day. Cadence was pretty bummed that he had to travel. I'm glad she liked all of her goodies from us.
They're pretty good with each other, but Cadence HATES it when Scarlet messes with her stuff!
Heart-shaped blueberry pancakes for breakfast...and no, I'm not that crazy, they're the frozen kind.
For dinner we had heart-shaped grilled cheese and strawberries with a Little Debbie Valentine's cake (which Mommy ate because she did not want it --what is wrong with this kid??? Are we sure she's mine???)

At my 26 week appointment, everything went well. The baby's heartbeat was about 145 bpm and my belly measured 27 cm (should be close to the number of weeks along you are). We will be in this Tuesday for our anatomy scan to check up on baby #2...can't wait! I'll keep you posted! Thanks for checking in!
