 Work travel took Danny to Michigan for a quick trip -- car selfie on our way to school!

Cadence was part of the crew in the Legally Blonde musical at school -- she's in the back of the pictures.  We're proud of her and the rest of the cast and crew.  It's amazing what they are able to do in such a short amount of time.  From the set to memorizing their lines. It's so impressive!

February Fun

In February, Cadence tagged along with Danny on a work trip to Connecticut. They made some memories before coming home with a trip to NYC!

While they were away, I treated Colin and Graham to a trip to Urban Air trampoline park.

Danny and Cadence BOTH skated in Rockefeller Plaza. I was so happy for them that they both got out on the ice!

Danny had a work trip out in LA after that --

And not long after that, Danny and I headed to Chicago on Valentine's Day for the Foster the People concert that weekend.  We were thankful that Mamaw and Papaw could stay with the kids (and the pup).

We ate dinner at the bar in the hotel restaurant.  The bartender gave each couple a rose :)

The concert was Saturday night, so we walked around the city during the day.

It started snowing!

I didn't get any pics while at the concert (only videos), but they put on a great show!  The concert was at The Salt Shed and was a really cool venue.  It was pretty intimate, but much bigger than, say, Newport Music Hall in Columbus.

Both mornings we started the day off the "Rite" way at Do-Rite.

We did some more walking around our favorite city before our late flight home.  Luckily we made it home -- Columbus got a decent amount of snow on Sunday!

Colin decided he wanted to play lacrosse in the spring with his buddies Adrian and Caleb. Danny got their pic after the pre-season meeting.

The last weekend in February, Colin's basketball team had their final tournament. They put up a great fight and played some great basketball!

Between me and my dad, we got some great shots of Colin during the games!

Danny spotted AJ Hawk (whose son was also playing in the tournament).  I mentioned it to Connie (Graham's grandma) and told her to go say hi!  I told her I would take a pic for her lol

Colin's team made it to the final game, but fell short.  It was a tough way to end the season.

Scott was able to fix the broken pipe in Cadence's shower (that had been broken since Thanksgiving).  He converted the tub to a shower and put in new tile with new fixtures and door.  We (especially Cadence) love how it turned out.

January '25

The weekend after New Years, I got some action shots of Colin's games.  Watching him play basketball has gotten even more enjoyable as he's gotten older!

Danny had some west coast travel to Seattle and LA, so along with that comes some pics we sent to him while he was away.  Not pictured is a trip to the sledding hill in Lewis Center at Winter Park. I only took videos and no pictures.

Happy New Year 2025

To ring in the new year, Cadence had 4 of her friends spend the night: Macie, Lilly, Grace, and Liv.  Somewhere along the way, they heard that you're supposed to eat 12 grapes at the "stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve to bring good luck and prosperity for the upcoming year. Each grape represents a month, and the goal is to eat one grape with each chime of the clock."  I guess if you also eat the grapes under the table, it's thought to "help attract love." They did it!  I hope it brings them luck!  The rest of us: Colin, Danny, Mom, Dad, and myself, stayed upright and did the traditional "cheers!"
