It had been over 3 years since we had family photos taken. I found Grace through a friend on Facebook, who had her family photos taken by Grace. Grace posted that she was doing fall mini-sessions in October, so I reached out to her and I'm so glad that things worked out!

Random Pictures of Cadence
I had a few random, but cute, pictures of Cadence that didn't really fit into a blog post, but definitely had to post!
Cadence found a praying mantis on her walk down the driveway after school!
She apparently felt cute on our way to our family photo session - I love her confidence.
Before COVID got really serious, we were going to have our kids and the Marinelli kids dress up like characters from Tiger King for Halloween. Since the 4 kids weren't going to be able to trick-or-treat together, we abandoned that idea. The Marinelli kids still dressed up like Joe Exotic and a tiger, so Cadence dressed like Carole Baskin one evening to play along. 😂
Cadence said that this is how Carole looks in the images we found online
School Conference Comp Day
In the middle of October, the kids had a day off from school due to a conference comp day for the teachers. After Danny and I got a little bit of work done at home, we took the kids to Star Lanes. We hadn't been to Star Lanes in a while due to COVID, but it was open for business, so we decided to give it a shot.
We got there right when it opened, so there wasn't anyone else in the arcade area. They had lots of bowls with Sani-wipes, they had hand sanitizer stations, and they also had air purifiers everywhere. Of course we also had to wear masks.
After the kids cashed in their e-tickets for prizes, we hit the bowling alley. They had dividers up between the alleys and you were supposed to alternate if you were bowling at the same time as your neighbor. We had a good time.
We grabbed lunch at Chick-fil-a at the food court in the mall...
and stopped by a couple local shops to pick up some more mums and pumpkins for the front porch. Look how cute it turned out!

Apple Picking 2020
Due to our sports schedule, our annual apple picking trip happened a little later than usual. We lucked out and had nice weather and there were still apples left for picking! We picked just enough apples, snapped some cute pictures, and had a picnic lunch after checking out the market! We love Legend Hills Orchard.
The kids always take turns sitting on Danny's lap and "driving" around to the different types of apple trees.
He thought it looked like a butt 😆
Dad found some corn - and of course he tried to eat it
Huckleberry Finn
Mom got some cute pics of the kids with her phone
We always have to take pictures of the kids in the bin! This particular bin looks to have come from Lynd Fruit Farms.
Silly ones!
They're so goofy!
I love my family!
