I've mentioned it in previous blog posts, that 2013 was an eventful year for us! From Colin's arrival, to selling our first home, to purchasing our second home. It was a hectic year, but also a great year. It was a little sad to see the year come to a close, but we are excited to see what 2014 has in store for us!
The holidays were really fun this year. Every year, Christmas has been a little different with Cadence growing older. This year, she understood why we put cookies out for Santa, she knew why she had to be to bed at a reasonable hour on Christmas Eve, and boy, was she excited about the presents! Almost too excited. She could have received 500 presents and would still have asked, "Are there any more?" Colin received a lot of gifts as well, but he was more into the boxes and the wrapping paper that the gifts came in!
We really didn't think it was going to happen, but we got Cadence to see Santa! I'm not sure if it was because she wasn't alone, but she surely surprised us! Colin wasn't afraid of Santa either!
Because Cadence & Colin were born around the same time of year, Colin got to wear one of Cadence's Christmas outfits from when she was a baby.
Santa was good to the kids this year! The trampoline that he brought was too big to fit in Grandma & Poppa's study, so he left it in their basement!
Such a girly-girl. She asked Santa for a trampoline, a cash register, hair chalk, & a play blow dryer...I think she was able to check everything off of her list. :)

This is what a basement looks like with 6 people living under one roof...chaos.
Colin is able to sit up by himself now, but he still falls over from time to time! It can mean some hard falls on hardwood floors, so mom had the idea of putting Colin in a laundry basket full of his toys! There's not enough room with all of us for a Pack 'n Play! He loves it!

Our new house! It will probably look much different the next time I post a picture of it! The beginning of the renovations on the inside have begun. We expect to be able to move in toward the end of February! Stay tuned for before and after pictures!
