Is it really November already? Crazy! Since the last blog post, we put an offer on a house! It's in Sunbury, about 20 minutes from where we are now (if you take back roads), or about 10 minutes further up I-71. We're excited! The current owners counter offered and then so did we...and they accepted! We are still working out the final details and will close at the end of this month. We will get possession of the house mid-December. That's all I'll write for the time being...don't want to jinx anything!
Our 5 Month cutie! He's getting to be such a big boy! He still really has no interest in rolling over and HATES being on his belly. He just started blowing raspberries and it's so easy to make him laugh! We have his 6 month doctors appointment later this month; I'm curious to see how much he weighs. He's already wearing 9 month sized clothes because he's so long!
Cadence was more interested in carving pumpkins this year. In hindsight, we would've had her draw a face on the pumpkin and we would've carved it for her, but she just watched for a little while. She was totally grossed out by the seeds and wanted no part in helping clean them out!
Even "Brudder" was part of the festivities.
Danny carved an elephant for Cadence...she was a big fan.
Halloween outfits from Mamaw and Papaw!
For about 2 months leading up to Halloween, Cadence wanted to be Fiona from Shrek. Then she changed her mind and wanted to be Sofia the First. I felt it was more fitting since she pretty much lives in her tiara and tutus.
Duh, Colin was an elephant for Halloween. I think he wore the costume for about 5 minutes. He was so sleepy and hungry when he got home from daycare that he had a bottle and went to bed! The costume was a little big, but cute nonetheless!
We had another dreary Halloween...at least it wasn't too chilly! We hit up about 7 houses and Cadence was done. Since the street wasn't too busy with trick-or-treaters, the houses we went to unloaded all of their candy to Cadence! She had a lot of fun!
