Apple Picking

So, we were supposed to go to the Circleville Pumpkin Show today...totally bummed about the rain.  We were very depressed about missing pumpkin doughnuts, pumpkin chili, pumpkin pizza, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin fudge...oh the list goes on.  Since we didn't do that today, I have some time to update the blog.  Right now, Dad and Danny are watching the the Ohio State / Iowa game and Mom and Cadence are watching The Little Mermaid...I'm kind of watching both.  Colin is napping.  Tomorrow we are going to check out a house on 1.5 acres with a fenced in yard and a pool!  There's also a 1.5 acre lot for sale next door.  We shall see!  We are also going to talk to Schumacher homes at noon.  We still haven't completely decided on what we'd like to do!

Halloween is less than 2 weeks away.  Cadence is going to be Sofia the First and Colin is going to be an elephant (of course!).  I'm hoping the weather will cooperate and will be nicer than it is today!  A couple of weeks ago we met Danny's family at Lynd's for some apple picking!  We had a lot going on that day with house stuff, so we didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked.  It also started down-pouring...at least we got a ton of apples!

Colin ~ 4 1/2 months

Cadence ~ 5 months

We started rice cereal with Colin last week!  He did a pretty good job!  It will be interesting to see how he does with baby food!  He's already getting so big.  He's not even 5 months old yet and almost outgrowing his 6 month old sized clothes.  I think Cadence at this age was still easily fitting in her 3 month old sized clothes!  Colin can also roll-over from his belly to his back...not consistently though.  We're working on it!
