Happy Holidays!

I've really put off updating the blog for a few weeks. Christmas has come and gone, and even though we were busy celebrating, we've been having a lot of fun!

We went to Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium with "Mima" and Poppa on one of the coldest nights we've had so far. It was packed, but we got to see a lot of the zoo!

Poppa showing Cadence some kind of creepy lizard.

Since the line to see Santa was freakishly long at the zoo, we stopped by the mall at Polaris. Surprisingly there wasn't a single person in line. Of course Cadence wanted NOTHING to do with Santa! Here she is sitting on Rudolph while we hoped she would warm up to him. Oh well, maybe next year!

The stinker even got a candycane!

And a wicked huge Mickey!

Beating up Mickey

She is OBSESSED with her Elmo jammies from Auntie Dianne; sometimes she hates to take them off to go to daycare! Cadence sends a big "thank you" to the Robertsons!

Cadence has apparently seen us raise our eyebrows at her a time or two.

Oh Christmas Tree...

At the hotel in Hamilton, Danny unplugged the phone so Cadence could carry it around while I was in the shower! What a nut!

She's already a girly-girl...playing with the makeup from her purse from Mamaw & Papaw.

Cadence, Grandpa, & the horse, Max!

Present time!

She LOVES making music!

So cute. Her cousins really love her. And Cadence loves them!

Santa came!

Look at her excited little face! She was so surprised to see all of the toys. It really was a lot of fun this year.

Cadence doesn't really understand what Santa is all about yet. We showed her the cookies he ate and she wanted the leftover cookies and carrots!

Of course we let her eat them!

Daddy caught Mommy & Cadence passed out after all the fun!

I think of all the gifts from Mima and Poppa, she liked the tiny Mickey ornament the most.

In toddler heaven!

We think Cadence has PLENTY of stuffed animals now! Oh wait, Danny forgot a few in her toy bins! You can add at least 8 to the ones you see pictured here.

Such a big girl!
