This past week was particularly difficult for my family. We lost a great member of the family...my grandfather...my Pepe. He passed away unexpectedly last Sunday. He will be greatly missed. He dearly loved all of us and I was told that he couldn't wait to have a great-grandchild. When he was in town for Cadence's baptism, I swear she immediately smiled at him when he held her for the first time. Cadence was a blessing to have with us -- she was a welcome distraction from the harsh reality of what was happening in our lives. It helps to know that he's in a better place...now The Pips can see Cadence whenever he wants!
Please enjoy the following pictures (most are courtesy of my mom...a.k.a. paparazzo)...
Cadence's first stay in a hotel

My dad's parents were able to meet Cadence while we were in Rhode Island. Here are Cadence's Gread-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Iacobucci...

Cadence's Great-Grandma DeNomme got her to smile!

Look at my muscles!

Surprise!

Perfect little angel...

Scarlet, you're invading my personal space!

Big, blue eyes!

This is the life...

I love my toys in my Pack 'N Play! The giraffe makes me crack up!
