Homecoming 2025 was fun! The girls got ready together at our house. Veronica brought Nolan over and we met up with the rest of Cadence's friends for pictures. Veronica and I served as their chauffeur and brought them to dinner in Westerville and then dropped them off at the school. I think Veronica and I had just as much fun at the brewery and OH Prime while the kids were enjoying dinner and the dance!

HOCO 2025
Yes, Veronica dressed in purple on purpose
Just stunning! She said she felt like Rapunzel.
Just mere hours before they became an official couple 💕
They all looked so pretty.
Nolan was a good sport with Macy's boyfriend; they had only met once before at a football game.
Veronica snuck this one. They had a blast that night and are still going strong 6 months later! They're such a cute couple.
Wrapping Up September '25
To wrap up September, Colin ran a XC race at Walnut Springs - of course it was hot!
Photos to Danny while he was out of town.
Danny's boss often sails and took him out on his boat while he was there! They had some great views to share.
That Friday I met up with Erica for her birthday dinner. We enjoyed some sushi at The Blue Sushi.
That weekend we joined Dad at the 2025 Columbus ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk. Dad was invited to speak about his experience beating prostate cancer. It was great to be there to support him! Danny and Dad ran the race, while the girls walked. Colin had a XC meet that same day so he was already at the London race with his school.
Colin finished the race, which is on a very hilly golf course, in 16:18!
The next week, Colin had a home race against Olentangy Berlin - the home trail is always a challenge. Colin finished in 17:36.
Apple Picking 2025
We're thankful we were able to make a trip out to Legend Hills Apple Orchard this year. A week after we went, we learned that they had a fire on the property that destroyed their market, cider press, and storage area. We're not sure if/when they'll be open again. We've made so many memories there and we hope to continue to make more for years to come.
