Cadence Can Roll Over!!

After a little work, Cadence finally rolled over from her back to her belly. We were able to catch her in action. It's funny because she can only roll in one direction! I think she'll eventually figure out how to go the other way. And again, ignore the annoying high-pitched voice!

7 Months Old!

We can't believe it, but out little peanut has turned 7 months old already! She is so much fun now - she can click her tongue, smack her lips, and makes a noise that sounds something like an elephant! It's funny how she learns something new and then does it non-stop for, like, 3 days. She even rolled from her back to her belly for the first time on Friday! She's such a big girl! Hopefully we'll get her in action on video. We're going to need to start baby-proofing soon... We find her in places where we did not leave her! She is going to make this long winter fly by!

Happy New Year!

A co-worker gave me the idea to take a picture of Cadence in her diaper for the New Year...glad I did it! She was a little obsessed with our comforter, but I got her to look up a few times!

I promise, she still has her diaper on :)

Sleepy Talking Baby

Here's a cute video we got of Cadence right before we put her to bed. Love it!

Our first Christmas with Cadence was great. Santa was very generous this year...Cadence had been a good girl! We were able to celebrate Christmas on 3 separate occasions - once in Hamilton with Danny's family on Christmas Eve, at home with Mommy and Daddy Christmas morning, and then at my parents' house. Please enjoy the pictures below...sorry for the delay! Christmas time is usually hectic, but when you throw a baby in the mix, it's a whole other story! We are looking forward to what the new year brings. Our family is very blessed and couldn't be happier.

Here is Cadence in her outfit from Mom's friend, Nancy. I've never been a huge fan of headbands on bald babies, but I've got to admit, it's pretty darn cute!

Cadence with her cousins! They already adore her...she'll be lucky to be able to play with them one day!
We could've saved a lot of money on gifts and just gave Cadence wrapping paper!
We had fun putting bows on Cadence's head :)

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

On Saturday, Danny, Cadence, and I went to Oakland Nurseries. Even though we weren't buying a real tree, we had a good time! They had an ice sculpter, popcorn and chili, and lots of neat sights! Cadence got to sit on Santa's lap! She was such a good girl!

The Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, and Max were there too!
