Check out some of our early summer ball happenings!
Cadence's individual picture from the season - turned out great!
Cadence got the game ball for the first game of pool play on Saturday. She had an awesome catch that helped them secure a W! They won both games that day, but lost on Sunday during bracket play.
We stopped by Hobby Lobby to cool down and kill time in between games. Haha, "She needs a golden calculator to divide (to divide)" (Oukast - Roses). We had a successful trip and scored many gifts for Father's Day.
We also met the team at Roosters for lunch!
The following weekend, Colin had a tournament in Delaware. Cadence and I were able to go to the Friday game...
He was a busy boy that weekend! And with it being Father's Day weekend, the dad's picked out the walkup songs for the boys. Cadence helped and Colin's song was "The Fart Song." It was difficult to not crack up every time he got up to bat. I kind of felt sorry for the kid 😂
After the Friday game, we had to divide and conquer. Cadence and I headed to Findlay and had dinner at Bob Evans - she wanted some biscuits. The sunset was pretty cool on our way to the parking lot!
Danny was able to join us for the games on Saturday. Here's a shot of the girls in the dugout before their first game. They went 2-1 that day - it was a long day of softball!
They had fun with some eye black before Sunday's morning game. They ended up losing in bracket play, so we headed back to Delaware to catch Colin's games in Delaware.
Here's Colin and some of his teammates watching the other Eagles 10u team play. There was a chance we could've played them, but they lost and Colin's team ended up playing the maroon New Albany team in the bracket championship game.
They won and received some hardware!
On Father's Day, to boot!
He was one, happy kid!
