This summer, Colin participated in the inaugural season of Little League Baseball at Big Walnut. There were 5 baseball teams made up of 9, 10, 11, and 12 year olds. It was a lot of fun mixing things up and watching the boys play against each other (when they're used to being on the same travel team). Colin's team wore green jerseys and were sponsored by Pulse Bookkeeping. The only kid from Colin's travel team that was on his little league team was Bowen Ryan. Kids that Colin had played with before, who were also on the team were: Brantley Gesacion, Eli Brockman, Cash Albert, and Lincoln Haught. It made for an extra busy late spring/early summer season, but it was worth it. The energy on the field was just different with little league. The boys were more relaxed and poked fun at each other. It was as if there was less at stake. Of course the wanted to win, but there were far less tears when things didn't go their way. Keep scrolling to see some pictures from opening night!
