The snow finally melted and the temperatures are slowly creeping toward more comfortable temperatures. Read on to see what fun early spring brought our family...
I took this picture, so that on days when they can't stand each other, I can prove to them that they actually do love each other. There are some days when they get along so well - they're like best buds. This happened to be one of them. They were snuggling up on the couch, watching TV. I think maybe Cadence was messing with Colin's hair at this point? So cute!
Nowadays, it's normal for schools to hold 2 picture days - one in the fall, when school starts, and one in late winter/early spring. I normally buy the fall pictures (the ones that end up in the yearbook), but the photography company still sends the proofs to try to sucker you to buy prints. The backgrounds were pretty goofy, so that just solidified the decision to not buy any prints. But heck, I still saved the proofs to my camera roll on my phone. Coincidentally, both kids dressed in plaid for picture day.
Why does she look 14 here??? 😭
Colin HAS to wear a button-down shirt on picture day. I think, to him, that's the definition of dressed up and "handsome".
They got one "serious" pose and one "goofy" pose.
Lucky the leprechaun made another special trip to our house for St. Patrick's Day. He figured the kids have had enough Lucky Charms throughout the year, so he brought Lucky Charms cereal bars and chocolate coins instead! They were a hit!
Colin said the fog that morning was because of the leprechaun's rainbow 😂
We had a family March madness competition this year - everyone filled out a bracket. It made watching the games even more fun. Check out what Colin put down for TTUN. It REALLY pained him to have to write that...
We spent one afternoon with Olive (and mom) soaking up some rays!
During one of the lacrosse practices I took Colin to, he got to participate in the face off. Scrimmages are his favorite part of lacrosse practices. He's doing such a good job learning the sport!
Baseball picture day - the boys look so handsome in their fresh unis!
