Hello March!

I decided to update the blog because Danny and I are constantly saying to each other that Cadence has changed so much in the past couple of weeks! By changing, I mean growing up. She talks ALL THE TIME now. You may not be able to understand some of it, but we're able to figure most of it out. She likes to sing along to songs; her favorites right now are "Moves Like Jagger" and "Stereo Hearts"...guess she likes Adam Lavine from Maroon 5. Even though it's March, she still sings Jingle Bells like it's her job. She's also picked up "Skinamarinky Dinky Dink" and "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" (you know, the one that goes "Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye) just from me singing them to her when I change her diaper! She calls Scarlet by name now and yells at her just about as much as we do (we're trying to not do that as much!). Her grammar is getting better also. She says things like "over here", "under there" and knows the difference between "this" and "that". She has even begun to play pretend. She plays with her dollhouse and will "take" things out of the refrigerator and put them on the table or we'll ask her to take a bite of her food and she tries to fake us out! She still likes to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but doesn't ask to watch Elmo anymore. Her new favorites are Curious George and Blues Clues. She has very good manners and says, "Thank you Mommy". Oh, and she calls Danny, "Danny" a lot! We try to correct her and say "Daddy" but she thinks it's funny!

Cadence got sick on Thursday, so I stayed home with her on Friday. Here she is chilling on the sheet/towel lined couch sharing some of her Goldfish crackers with Bear.
