Last week Cadence got the stomach bug that had been going around the room at daycare. We thought she had dodged it, but she had several dirty diapers on Monday and she was not able to keep her dinner down. I stayed home with her on Tuesday (which worked out nicely because the weather was beautiful) and we just hung out and watched cartoons and read books. We took a nice long walk and I was able to get some work done while Cadence took a 3.5 hour nap! By Thursday morning she was back to her normal self.
She's also sleeping on a cot during nap time at daycare...it's just her and another toddler, Thatcher. Let's just say naptime has become a lot shorter during the week! Makes for some fun evenings!
