Making Up for Lost Time

Danny and I had a GREAT time in San Francisco celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. It was nice to get away to see and do new things. We learned that typical San Fran weather hovers between 55 and 65 degrees almost all year! It was beautiful in the sun, but chilly in the shade. We arrived on Wednesday morning and spent the day walking around and riding the cable cars. We enjoyed dinner with my old roommate, Kristy, and her boyfriend, Chris. It was good to see them! We rented bikes on Thursday and rode around the city, visited Baker Beach, and crossed the Golden Gate Bridge to cruise through Sausalito. Sausalito was beautiful and our favorite part of the trip. We also made a stop by Lombard Street (the crookedest street!) We rented Go Cars on Friday and saw the painted ladies (you know, the houses from Full House?) and Golden Gate Park. We also checked out China Town that night. Of course we enjoyed some great food and were able to fit in a couple trips to In-N-Out Burger and lots of sourdough bread for Danny. I posted pictures on facebook (I like to keep the blog mostly about little Peanut)...so check them out! Mom and Dad took really good care of Cadence. We knew she would be fine with them! We got to Facetime her everyday, so that helped! This was the first time I left her overnight! When we got to their house Sunday morning to pick up the Peanut and Pup, she wouldn't stop laughing because she was so excited! It was adorable!

We took some time off work on Monday to make sure we spent some quality time with Cadence. We got some great pictures in the meantime...

"Wow, all this work makes time fly!"

She likes helping me with the laundry so I let her get up close and personal ;)
