On a side note, I forgot to mention that at Cadence's 1 year doctor's appointment, that Cadence was 18 lb, 14 oz (20th percentile) and 29.5 in. tall (55th percentile). We've got a skinny stringbean on our hands! She has 6 teeth now, crawls like a madwoman, pulls herself up onto furniture and cruises around the coffee table! She gives kisses, shakes her head "no" (even when she means yes) and dances all the time! We can't get enough of her!

Summer Time!
As usual, the Schuermans are keeping very busy! During the weekend of the 4th, that Friday, we went to my Dad's birthday party at my parents' house. We were also celebrating the fact that my Dad is now cancer free! There was definitely a lot to celebrate and we enjoyed some great food and some great fun. On Saturday, we took a trip to Hamilton and were able to spend time with Cadence's Mamaw, Papaw, Uncle Mike, Aunt Annie, and cousins Emilee, Lily, and Gracie! Although Cadence had a rough start, she was having a blast by the time we had to leave. She liked the pool, but is still getting used to the bright summer sun! On Sunday, we took a family bike ride down to Ohio State's campus. Lastly, on Monday, Cadence, Danny and my Dad supported me at the "Freedom 4-Mile Run" and we stuck around for the Orange Township parade. Cadence was such a good girl and loved her first parade!

Didn't know about your Dad, glad to hear he's cancer free. Sounds like you had a wonderful 4th celebration. Darling pictures of the little once.
