9 Months Old!

Cadence had her 9 month well check-up this past Wednesday. The little peanut weighs 16 pounds and 15 ounces...almost 17 pounds (25th percentile) and is 27.75 inches tall (50th percentile). As you can see in the posts below, she's strong enough to crawl, but hasn't quite figured it out! She's babbling a lot these days and absolutely adores Scarlet. She's kind of in a funny phase right now - she really wants nothing to do with her baby food! As soon as she sees the spoon head towards her mouth, she puts her hands up and tries to shove you away. If she's in a good mood, you can distract her and she'll eat, but otherwise, she'd rather eat Cheerios and Goldfish crackers! Poor thing needs some more teeth so she can eat some real food. We've tried pieces of bread, cut up green beans, mashed up banana, etc. Some things she can mash up with her gums, some make her gag. She has one bottom tooth that is almost all the way in and another on its way. She's still a pretty happy baby! She sleeps very well at night and since she's discovered she can sleep on her belly, she doesn't wake up much!
