Happy Baby

Mom captured a great picture last week while she was watching Cadence. She's such a happy baby! Her first tooth is finally coming in and she's trying to talk more! She says "hi" and tries to say "puppy" - it ends up sounding like "uppy" or "baby." Daycare said they're trying to teach her to say "mommy" - I would love that! She still doesn't want to crawl. She'll scrunch her knees up while she's on her belly, but doesn't really go anywhere. We can't wait for her to crawl! Even though that means baby proofing EVERYTHING. We have her 9 month well check-up next week. I'm guessing a 17 pound peanut! She's so tiny! She's expanding her palate - we stopped by McDonald's before we went grocery shopping this weekend. We let her try some orange juice, some biscuit and she loved the oatmeal! I even let her try some hummus when I got home from work! Hopefully she gets more teeth soon - she loves to eat, but can't really eat anything yet!
